Program Details, Terms and Conditions
We are seeking experienced affiliates who can effectively market our services. In return, we are offering a substantial referral fee for each sale generated. A 20% referral fee will be paid for all sales that show to be referred by an affiliate. Once accepted as an FtpKey.com affiliate, you will receive a referral link to place on your web site. We will track the referrals using that link and match it against sales.
Example: A visitor to your site clicks on the referral link, something similar to http://www.ftpkey.com/?aid=2006999000. They purchase our 500 MB Monthly FTP Site hosting service for $39.95. Your referral fee for this sale is $7.99. You will receive another $7.99 for each billed month the referral remains a client up to twelve months. This adds up to $95.88 in one year for that one referral ($7.99 X 12) if they remain a client for twelve months. The initial setup fee each client pays in not included in the 20% referral fee. The referral fee is adjusted to any upgrade or downgrade in services requested by the client.
You can market our service through many avenues including links on your web site and cost-per-click advertising. Marketing our services through the use of spam is strictly forbidden. Spamming will result in the immediate termination of your affiliate status and any pending referral payments will be forfeited at the discretion of FtpKey.com. Determining what is spam is at the discretion of FtpKey.com.
Referral fees will be paid out at the end of each month.
Example: An affiliate generates $200.00 of referral fees in their first month, which was January. The first check for $200.00 will be sent at the end of February. Affiliates must accumulate at least $25.00 of referral fees to be paid or the fees are carried over to the next month until $25.00 is reached. All fees are currently paid by check.
Referral fees are not paid for referrals who cancel and request a refund within ten days of purchase.
We have an extensive fraud screening process on all
transactions submitted to FtpKey.com. All
transactions deemed to be fraudulent are immediately reported to the originating
ISP as well as the card-issuing bank. Any fees due or paid on fraudulent
transactions or chargebacks from an affiliate referral will be reversed or deducted from
pending or future payments. An affiliate
relationship may be terminated by FtpKey.com if it is determined that an inordinate amount of
fraudulent transactions are attempted through the affiliate referral link.
Affiliates are paid as independent advertisers. It is the
sole responsibility of the affiliate to report and pay any taxes due on payments
received from FtpKey.com.
The FtpKey.com Affiliate Program can be cancelled at any time and all obligations terminated at the discretion of FtpKey.com.
